Early on Monday morning, December 21, 2015, at 2:08 a.m., officers of the West Point Police Department were dispatched to the Fastbreak Convenience Store on Hwy 45 alternate south. Upon arrival officers spoke with the store clerk who reported that a man wearing a red ski mask came into the store and demanded money. She described the robber as a white male, who appeared to be in his mid to late twenties, but wasn’t sure because of the mask. He was reported to be about 5’11, around 180 lbs., wearing a camouflage jacket and shorts. A witness at the scene reported that after taking an undisclosed amount money from the till, the suspect fled south on Highway 45 alternate in the grey pickup.
