A West Point man and registered sex offender has been arrested and accused of kidnapping a realtor.

Kenneth Fox, 40, was arrested on Tuesday in Aberdeen after he held a realtor against her will at a house showing.

Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell said Fox covered the woman's mouth and held her by her waist and told her he fantasized about having sex with an older woman.

The victim was afraid Fox was going to rape or kill her, but was able to escape unharmed.

Cantrell said Fox is being held at the Monroe County Jail, and he has a hold on him by the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

According to the Mississippi Sex Offender Registry, Fox was charged with a 1993 aggravated criminal assault in Cook, Illinois.
