Nine veteran West Point Consolidated School District educators have been named Teachers of the Year at their respective schools.

One of them will be named the district’s Teacher of the Year early in 2019.

The Teachers of the Year are:

— East Side Elementary, Tracy Arnold-Washington, kindergarten teacher, 12 years teaching at East Side, member of the Leadership Team and co-organizer of the annual Black History program;
— Church Hill Elementary, Crosby Miller, second grade teacher, five years teaching;
