Oktibbeha Circuit Clerk Hamilton Arrested

STARKVILLE, MS Oktibbeha County Circuit Clerk Glenn Hamilton was arrested in Clay County early Friday morning on a trespassing charge, Clay County Sheriff’s Office jail records show. According to the Sheriff’s Office website, Hamilton was arrested and booked into the Clay County Detention Center at 12:22 a.m. by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. He was released at 2:46 a.m. Trespassing is the lone charge listed. Hamilton’s bond was set at $282.75.
Hamilton could not immediately be reached for comment. No further information has been released by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at this time.
Hamilton is a former state senator. Last November, he was elected to serve a second term as Circuit Clerk.
