Kate Thomas and Reid Nevins were honored with an engagement party Oct. 30, at the “Dock of the Pond” at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Millard. Friends and family enjoyed a casual buffet dinner and visiting along the dock and around several campfires. Special guests included Mr. and Mrs. Ben Thomas, parents of the bride-elect and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Nevins, parents of the prospective groom. Hosting the party were Nina and Ray Millard, Nancy and Larry Pitre, Judy and Billy Buck Staggers and Stacy and Belk Weems.
