One night after the Oak Hill Lady Raiders (3-3) lost 38-32 at Kirk Academy, they vented their frustration on the Lady Rams of Immanuel, defeating the visitors 63-22.
“We finally had a good shooting night,” said Oak Hill head coach Stan Hughey.
The Lady Raiders managed to take a tremendous 48-16 lead by the half, and they were leading 63-18 by the end of the third quarter.
“We got it at the pace we wanted it at,” said Hughey. “They tried to zone us, and we shot the ball really well.”
Leading the Lady Raiders on the night was Tori Ellis, who broke out with 23 points. She had six rebounds and three steals. Ellis was 10-for-13 from the floor, nailing five three point shots.
Rachel Herndon had 12 points, including a pair of three point shots.
Megan Ellis scored 11 points, with four steals, and Anna Ready had six points.
Paige Dawkins scored three points with as many rebounds, and Kayla hall had three points as well.
Oak Hill had 16 steals on the night as a team.

The Lady Raiders will be back on the court this Thursday night, at home, to take on a tough Leake Academy team. Tip off for all of the Oak Hill basketball action is at 4 p.m.
