Sims graduates

Courtney Sims of Tupelo recently graduated from Northeast Community College earning her AS in Art. Sims made the Dean's List and had several pieces of her work shown in the school art exhibit. She received Best of Show her freshman year and 2nd place in painting her sophomore year including some honorable mentions both years. Sims placed 2nd in the state art competition. Sims is now a junior at MSU where she is working on advanced degrees in art.
Sims is the daughter of Cindy and Chuch Sims of Tupelo, the granddaughter of Clark and Shirley Baker of the Una Community and the grandaughter of Charlie and Betty Sims of New Albany.
