The Hebron Christian Eagles (1-7; 0-2) will be celebrating homecoming tonight, and they will be trying to get back on the winning side of the win-loss column for the first time since week three at West Memphis Christian School.
They will be taking on Calhoun Academy (1-8; 0-6) in a non-district battle tonight.
The Eagles are coming off one of their best efforts of the season, a league game against Immanuel last week.
During that game, Hebron was leading well into the fourth quarter, but they let a 22-14 lead slip away into a 35-22 loss to the Rams.
Hebron’s 22 points last week were the most they have scored this season. Twenty was the most they had scored prior to that.
Calhoun Academy is riding an eight-game losing streak at the moment. The Cougars won their first game against Park Place in Pearl, but they have fallen in every match since.
Their last contest was a league game against Delta Academy, where they lost 16-14. The previous week, they fell to Calvary 42-20. Last week’s contest was their closest since the opening week win.
The Eagles are hoping for a win and some momentum as they prepare to close out district play against Winona next Friday night.
Tonight’s game will kickoff at 7 p.m.
