Grady Berryhill, age 89, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center, in Tupelo.
He was born Aug. 16, 1923, in Monroe County, to the late Susan Head Berryhill and Wilford Franklin Berryhill. Mr. Berryhill was a Mechanic having had worked for Bryan Foods, Bishop Chevrolet, Jameson Ford, TXI and later in his own shop. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mr. Berryhill was a Veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps, where he was an Aircraft Mechanic during WW II. Grady Berryhill married Jimmie Dell

Funeral services are today, Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ben Butler officiating, assisted by the Rev. Sarah Windham. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Dell Caradine Berryhill; one daughter, Judy Buck (Thad); and his son-in-law Tommy Simmons, all of West Point; four grandchildren: Terri Dukeminier (John), Kim Miller (Jeff), Scot Simmons (Brandy), and Kelli Brown (Jeremy); 13 great- grandchildren; and one sister, Eva Mae Williams of Columbus. His daughter, Carolyn Berryhill Simmons, seven brothers and one sister, preceded him in death.
Pallbearers are Scot Simmons, Jeff Miller, John Dukeminier, Jeremy Brown, Josh Miller,and Joseph Miller.
Honorary pallbearers are Harold Nyholm, Dr. John Cox, Dr. Andrew Kellum, Dr. Vishal Sachdev, all his wonderful
caregivers, and the Members of Christ United Church Family.

Visitation is today, Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, from 1:30 - 3 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
