It didn’t matter who was on the floor for Hebron Monday night, the result probably would have been the same.
A 45-point second half performance by the Eagles (1-0) catapulted them to a 65-36 season-opening victory over Grace Christian in front of their home fans.
Despite getting into early foul trouble with two starters, the Eagles finally got into a rhythm after the half.
“Once we started getting a feel of where everyone was going to be, what they were going to do and run our offense the way we’re supposed to, we settled down,” head coach Tri Nason said. “I made some adjustments at the half putting Ben (Pearson) down low and (David) Kinard outside.”
