It seems like something straight out of the movies, but it most certainly is not.
West Point resident Michael Bush, 20, plead guilty to both charges of possession of cocaine and conspiring murder after being sentenced for the possession charge last week in Oktibbeha County.
Bush plead guilty to both the Oktibbeha and Clay Counties charges and confessed his guilt in the conspiracy charge. He has since been sentenced to eight years of detention — with six years suspended — at the Mississippi Department of Corrections facility in Jackson. No restitution charges were handed down on Bush, but he was still required to pay a $1,000 fine in addition to court costs.
