Waymond Will “Bill” Reid age 87, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Starkville Manor Nursing Home, in Starkville.
Bill Reid was born August 21, 1925, in Pheba, to the late Ventrice Montgomery and Quay Reid.
Mr. Reid worked as a Bundle Boy at Knickerbocker & Big Yank, Manufacturing. He worked as custodian for First Baptist Church for 17 years and then at Sunflower Food Store. Mr. Reid was a member of West End Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. Waymond Will Reid married Allie Mae Hollis January 22, 1955 at Eupora.
Funeral services are Monday, April 1, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Myers officiating, assisted by Rev. R. C. Bryan. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Allie Mae Reid of West Point, three daughters, Ruth Ann Self of Kissimmee, Fla., Judy Coleman (Billy Wayne) and Sara Reid Ingram (Chip) all of Houston, one son, Jack Hollingsworth (Sally) of Panama City Beach, Fla., a daughter-in-law, Jimmie Thompson Hollingsworth of West Point, 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren, one sister, Beatrice Williams of Pheba. Preceding him in death were children, Adron Lou Jolly-Wilson, Sam Hollingsworth, Paul Hollingsworth and Jerry Hollingsworth and his brother
Pallbearers are grandsons, Mike Hollingsworth, Heath Hollingsworth, Jeff Jolly, Jim Jolly, Stephen Coleman, Floyd
Ingram, IV, Jacob Ingram, and James Ingram.

Visitation is Sunday, March 31, 2013, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
