The West Point Green Wave and the Oak Hill Raiders open their respective district slates Friday night. The Hebron Christian Eagles host their Homecoming game.
The Wave (3-1) squares off against two-time reigning MHSAA Region 1-5A champs Oxford Chargers (2-2) at 7 p.m. in Oxford. It is the opener for both teams. Oxford has a three-game winning streak over West Point, including a 42-14 postseason win on Nov. 21 at McCallister Field in West Point.
The Raiders (4-1) tilt against the Winona Christian Stars (4-1; 2-0 District 2-AA) at 7 p.m. in Winona. The game is Oak Hill's first district game. Winona downed Deer Creek School and Columbus Christian Academy to start its district slate.
Hebron (3-1) squares off against the Strider Academy Rams at 7:30 p.m. in Pheba. The Eagles hold a three-game winning streak over Strider (0-4), including two consecutive shutouts.
