The West Point Police Department is investigating the burglary of a drink machine on the 400 block on Main Street on Thursday night.

Video surveillance shows two white males tampering with the machine and driving away in a dark colored Jeep.

Assistant Police Chief Albert Lee said the men were able to break into the machine and take an undetermined about of money.

Lee said WPPD is also investigating several vehicles getting broken into around the 200 block of Airport Road on Sept. 6.

Lee said the suspect is a white male with a disguise covering his face who drove a four-door white Chevy Silverado with a chrome toolbox.

Lee said WPPD is also investigating vandalization of a building in the 200 block of Mary Holmes Drive on Sept. 6.

Lee said the suspect or suspects gained entry to the building by breaking out a window and then vandalized the building.

“A lot of mischievous activity was done once inside,” he said.

Anyone with any information about these or other crimes is encouraged to contact WPPD at (662) 494-1244 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
