WP JROTC wins in Ocean Springs

November 8, 2011

Walk into the JROTC building on West Point High School’s campus and you’ll find several trophies collected over the years. Now they can add a few more after bringing home first and fourth place in Ocean Springs last weekend.

It’s the third such competition for MSgt. Edwin Hurst and his team this year. A few weeks ago in Terry, they had two first place finishes and one second. Hurst emphasized the hard that’s put into it every week.

For the complete story, read Wednesday's edition of the DTL.
