Willie and Lois Williams of Pheba, Miss., and Henry L. and Sharon Poston of West Point, Miss., are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, LaShonda S. Wooten to Tremechie Evans, son of Joseph and Barbie McDowell and William C. Bell of Starkville, Miss.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late William and Leola Wooten and the late Julius and Laura Poston.
She is a 2003 graduate of West Point High School, received an Associate of Arts Degree from Hinds Community College in 2005, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University in 2007, and a Masters Degree from the University of West Alabama in 2010.
She is currently employed with Community Counseling Services.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Hazel Hicks of Starkville, Miss., and William and Bobbie Bell of Starkville, Miss.
He is a 2001 graduate of Starkville High School, received an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from East Mississippi Community College in 2003, and continued his education at Belhaven University in Sports Administration in 2005.
He is currently employed with Enterprise.
Wedding vows will be exchange Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 3 p.m. at the Bryan Union Hall.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend this joyous occasion.
