John Wesley Williamson was selected as the local winner of the Wendy’s Heisman award for Oak Hill Academy. He was also a state finalist. There were only 20 state finalists, 10 girls and 10 boys. He recently attended the Wendy’s Heisman Awards luncheon in Jackson where he received a medal and trophy. The guest speaker was former Gov. Ronnie Musgrove.
