West Point woman arrested on felony drug charges

A West Point woman was charged with multiple felony drug charges following a traffic stop last week.

Investigators with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office charged 30-year-old Megan Farrell with possession of marijuana (misdemeanor), introduction of contraband in a correctional facility and four counts of possession of a controlled substance - codeine, morphine, amphetamine and Vyvanse.

Farrell was transported to the Clay County Detention Center with bond set at $22,105.15.

She was arraigned in Clay County Justice Court on Monday.
