The West Point Police Department will host a BBQ cook-off Saturday at Sally Kate Winters park in downtown West Point.
Officer Zate McGee said the cook-off would begin at 5 p.m. Friday. Judging will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, with participants judged in three categories: pulled pork, ribs and sauce.
"There will be first, second and third place trophies for each category, and each participant can sell their products on site," McGee said.
Registration for the cook-off will cost $50, and anyone who wants to participate can register at WPPD on East Westbrook Street.
