Wayne Clements

Wayne Clements, 73, passed away, on Monday, October 17, 2011, at the West Point Community Living Center in West Point.
Robert Wayne Clements was born October 22, 1937, in Clay County, Mississippi, to the late Maudie Lee Morgan and George Robert Clements. He was a retired Machinist for Babcock and Wilcox Company for 37 years. Mr. Clements was a member of Church of Christ-East Columbus. Robert Wayne Clements married Janette Doss Hamblin Clements September 13, 1986, in Clay County.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Brother J. R. Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include wife, Janette Hamblin Clements of Columbus; four daughters, Natalie Clements Mobley and Linda Clements both of Mobile, AL, Donna Letson (Eddie) of Knoxville, TN, Kathy Wooten (Randy) of West Point; one son, Randy Hamblin of West Point; Eight grandchildren; Kali Mobley, Miles Mobley, Sam Rice, T. C. Wooten, Mary Hamblin,
Johnny Hamblin, Chris Letson and Brandy Boggs and Eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Gilreath Snoddy of
West Point, and Sarah Eaton of Woodland and a number of nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his
sister, Beatrice Lewelling,
Pallbearers will be his grandchildren Miles Mobley, Sam Rice, T. C. Wooten, Johnny Hamblin, Chris Letson, and Robert Eaton.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Wooten, Jerry Eaton, Billy Gilreath, Michael Gilreath, George Gilreath, Randy Hamblin, Earl Sanders, Buddy Sanders, Ed Williams, Eldon Barham, Clyde Hollis, His former co-workers at Babcock & Wilcox, and all his friends at Church of Christ East Columbus.

Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
