Senior West Point Guard Tre Williams inked with East Central Community College Tuesday morning after being named all-district last season averaging 9.75 points and four rebounds a game. Coach Brad Cox said that he thinks he can succeed at the next level because Williams is a solid, all-around player who shoots the ball well from the perimeter.
“I chose East Central because I like their coaching staff, and they seem to care a lot about their players and helping them be successful,” said Williams. “I just felt like it was a place where it could help me get better.”
While Williams is the first Green Wave player to sign, there are others who are reviewing college offers. See future editions of Daily Times Leader for upcoming signing days from the Green Wave basketball team.
