Virginia Bock

Virginia Bock, age 88, passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2011 at the home of her niece Dorothy Cole.
She was born April 3, 1923, in West Point, to the late Hattie Bell Stroud and Tony Bock Sr. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and was retired from Big Yank and Knickerbocker.
Funeral services were 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at Robinson Chapel with the Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Roy Shannon, Bill Cole, Eddie Bock, Timmy Turner, Dale Bigham, Lynnwood Prescott. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. John Cox, Amory Health nurses and staff, Rhonda and Rosie, Hospice Pastor Jerry, Trinity Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church Families, and Burton Nix.
She is survived by one brother, Henry Bock Sr., of Cedar Bluff; several nieces and nephews; and her friends Mary Lou Parks and Annie Bess Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Paul L. Brock, Frank Bock, and Ray Bock.
