 Louise Wilkins Anderson

Louise Wilkins Anderson, age
 95, passed away, Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at Dugan Memorial Home in West Point. She  was born Sept. 3, 1914, in Brooksville to the late Willie Hopkins Wilkins and Tyson Wilkins. She was a teacher in elementary and high schools in George County and West Clay High School for 15 years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church and was a graduate of Mississippi State College for Women. She married James L. Anderson on Feb. 25, 1940, in Brooksville, and he predeceased her on Aug. 10, 1957.
 Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Shuqualak Cemetery on Highway 21 with the Rev. Danny Avery officiating. Burial will follow in Shuqualak Cemetery, in  Shuqualak.  Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Louise Elizabeth Fisher (Bill) of Ridgeland; two
sons: James L. Anderson Jr. (Kathye) of Brooksville, Joe Anderson of West Point; four grandchildren: James L. Anderson III, Lynne Fisher, Lee Fisher and Lydia Fisher Specht; three great-grandchildren: Jacob   Anderson,  Julia Anderson
and Andrew Fisher; two sisters: Sara Elizabeth Ellis of Lexington, Dorothy Fraley of Macon; two brothers: T. J. Wilkins (Dorothy), Bill Wilkins (Peggy) all of Brooksville. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Tyson Wilkins, and her grandson, John Anderson.
Pallbearers will be James Anderson  III, Michael Wilkins, Lee Fisher, Dr. Barrie
Bounds, Darryl Wilkins, Bill Wilkins Jr., Ronnie Durham, and Sam Heard Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the staff of Waverly Care Home and the  staff of Dugan Memorial Home. Special thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice and Community Hospice.
Memorials may be made to donor's choice.
 Visitation will be 1:45 p.m. until service time at the cemetery at Shuqualak Cemetery.
