Vidia Foster Moore, age 66, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at Windsor Place in Columbus.
She was born Nov. 1, 1947, in Houston, to the late Rosa Josephine Vance and William Denver Foster. She worked in the restaurant business as a waitress for many years.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014, at at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Jim Sallee officiating. Burial will be in Popular Springs Cemetery in Vardaman. Visitation is today, Wednesday Aug. 13, 2014, from 5 - 7 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Paul Johnson, James Johnson, Clyde Edwards, Ruben Smith, John Smith, Charlie Foster.
She is survived by her sons: Christopher Moore (Chelsea) of New Hope, Michael McKinney of Claxton, Ga.; brothers: Dan Foster of New Orleans, La., Paul Foster of Muscle Shoals, Ala., David Foster of West Point; sister, Lytie Johnson of Houston; four grandchildren; and one great - grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Benton Moore.
Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
