Victor Chism, 72, passed away, on Friday, October 11, 2013 at OCH Regional Medical Center,
in Starkville. He was born June 10, 1941 in Monroe County Mississippi to the late Miriam Roberts Chism and Albert
Doyle Chism. Mr. Chism was a Dye Setter for Blazon Flexible Flyer for 35 years and was of the Penetecostal faith. Victor
Chism married Eunice Oswalt Chism on June 5, 1965, in West Point.
Visitation with a gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
Family Graveside Services will be held. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice Oswalt Chism; two daughters, Tammy Whitehead and Lisa Pickett (Jason) all of West
Point; five grandchildren; Carla Hudson (Jacob), Jessica Whitehead, Elizabeth Wilson, Amber Wilson, and Allison
Pickett; one Great-Granddaughter; Sarah Kay-Lynn Hudson; two sisters, Linda Miller (Bobby) of West Point, MS, Hilda
Berry (Harold) of Columbus; one brother, Lynn Chism of Columbus. Preceding him in death was his daughter, Vickie
Lynn Chism Wilson, grandson, Douglas Adam Whitehead, two brothers Donald Chism and Albert Dale Chism
Pallbearers will be John Oswalt, Danny Huffman, Kevin Huffman, Tim Vaughn, Brian Norton, and Jacob Hudson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Everett McKibben and the staff of OCH, Johnny Oswalt, Jimmy Oswalt, Terry Holloway,
Tom Nolen, and Jerry Nolen.
