Vannie Louise Hill Henley of Mayhew died on Wednesday August 17, 2011 at her residence at the age of 74. She was born May 1, 1937 in Chickasaw County to the late Vannie Lee Malone and Jake Hill. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday August 20, 2010 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Gary Jackson officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Henley, Scotty Henley, Donnie Henley, Wally Henley, David Shawn Henley, Sr., Dale Henley, David Lee Henley, and Logan Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Dimino, Tommy Henley, Jimmy Charles, Steve Portera, Dr. Billington, Billy Swedenburg, Willie Brown, Pete Portera, Tim Stafford.
She is survived by sons, Jimmy Henley (Donna) of Ocean Springs, Ronnie Henley (Robin) of Silverhill, AL, Charles Henley of Mayhew, John Henley (Melissa) of Purvis, David Lee Henley of Mayhew; daughters, Jackie Prestridge (Robbie) of Mayhew, Vickie Frost of Tuscaloosa, AL; brothers, Odie Hill, Frank Hill of West Point, Charlie Hill (Libby) of McComb, Donald ‘Red’ Hill of Bryan, TX; sisters, Dorothy Crane, Pauline Blake both of New Orleans; sister-in-law, Shelby Franklin of West Point; several nieces and nephews; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Howard Henley, Sr. and brothers, J.C. Hill, Robert Hill, Elvin Hill.
Memorials may be made to Macedonia Cemetery Fund in Chickasaw County.
