According to the Mississippi Tobacco-free Coalitions, there are 86 cities in the state that have passed 100 percent smoke-free ordinances. These cities include Starkville, Columbus, Tupelo, Aberdeen and Amory.
West Point, however, is not on this list. While no official ordinance is in place, the city remains tobacco-free, according to West Point Chief Administrative Officer Randy Jones.
