â€œTippy" Stephens, age 75, passed away, Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. "Tippy" Stephens was born June 10, 1935, in Ashland, Clay County Ala., to the late Myrthur Lydia Riddle and Cecil Marvin Jenkins. She worked in computer programing and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Birmingham, Ala. Mrs. Stephens came to West Point in 1968, from Birmingham, Ala., where she lived for thirteen years. Sarah Jeanette "Tippy" Stephens married Dr. Joe K. Stephens on April 4, 1968, in Amory.
Graveside Services are Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Jeff Shannon, in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include husband, Dr. Joe K. Stephens of West Point; three sisters: Margaret Jenkins Walker of Birmingham, Ala.,
Joyce Jenkins Napier of Corinth, Virginia Jenkins Hammond of Appleton, Wis.; one brother, Charles Cecil Jenkins of Pulaka, Fla.
Pallbearers are Hubert Caston, Bob Wyman, Kenny Dill, Donald Raines, Art Strobel, Eugene Bailey and Danny Mize.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Edmund A. Miller, Jr., Dr. T. N. Braddock, Tim McKibben, Eugene Bailey, and Danny Mize.

Visitation is Monday, 5 - 7:30 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
