Thomas Leroy Stone

Thomas Leroy Stone, age 75, passed away, Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the North Mississippi Medical Center, in West Point. Thomas Leroy Stone was born June 11, 1935, in to the late Florence Mixon Stone and William Travis Stone, Sr.
He was a truck driver. Mr. Stone attended the Baptist Church. He had served in the Mississippi Army National Guard several years. Thomas Leroy Stone was married to Dorothy Ereline Miller Stone who preceded him in death October 26, 2010.
Funeral services are Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at 3 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel, with the Bro. Jerry King officiating. Burial will follow in Clarkson Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Joann Newman of Columbus; two grandchildren: Bo Helton and Christina Mulkey; ten great- grandchildren; three sisters: Geneva Spruill of West Point, Myrtle O'Rourke of Saltillo, Cora Thompson of Eupora.
Pallbearers are David Weaver, Lonnie Brand, Bo Helton, C. W. Walters.
Honorary pallbearers are Vickie Weaver, Friends at Cathy's Restaurant, Staff of Aurora Australis Nursing Home.
Memorials may be made to Montpelier Baptist Church Tornado Relief Fund, Joe Stevens Road, Cedar Bluff, MS 39741.
Visitation is Wednesday, June 8, 2011, from 1 – 3 p.m., service time at Calvert Funeral Home.
