Thomas Edward ‘Tom’ Shurden

Thomas Edward “Tom” Shurden, 56, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, in West Point.
Thomas Edward “Tom” Shurden was born Dec. 3, 1956, in Chicago, Ill., to Felix Edgar Shurden Jr. and the late Lois Jean Keehn. He was a Vinyl Siding Worker and a veteran of the U. S. Navy.
Stateroom funeral services are Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, 1 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home with friends sharing personal stories.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters: Trisha Shurden of Casper, Wy., Tracy Shurden Arteta of Casper, Wy., Delia Mae Shurden of Eupora; eight grandchildren; Kaitlin, Samantha, AJ, Ryan, Bryana, Stephen, Chelsea and Kelly and two great - grandchildren; Kassidy and Mina; his father Felix Shurden and one sister, Brenda Shurden of Starkville, three brothers: James Shurden of Aberdeen, Mark Shurden of Hattiesburg, Todd Shurden of Douglasville, Ga. His mother, Lois Jean Shurden, and brother, Brian Keith Shurden, preceded him in death
Visitation is Saturday, noon - 1 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
