Mike Simmons has been matching the needs of his clients with the best insurance coverage at affordable prices for 45 years. He began his career at Moseley – White Insurance in 1969. He remained at that office until 1992, when he went to work for Galloway, Chandler, McKinney Insurance. He has now decided the time has come to retire.
“GCM has been a wonderful place to work,” said Simmons. “I've enjoyed working with the staff and the clients. So many people started out as clients and now are my friends. I've always tried to work with honesty and integrity, keeping my Christian beliefs and faith foremost in all my business practices.”
Simmons is not going to retire to a rocking chair on the front porch, he said his wife Kay has a “honey – do” list ready for him. He gives Kay credit for any success he's had. Simmons said she is his inspiration and source of strength for every day of their marriage. She is a fount of encouragement in his life. Together with her, their three children and six grandchildren, he claims his life could not have been better.
“I owe an enormous debt of thanks to my late father – in – law, Emmett Ruble for making sure I learned the basics of the insurance industry and working with people,” said Simmons.
