Sarah Earline Roberts

Sarah Earline Roberts, age 70, passed away Aug. 12, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point.
Mrs. Sarah was born Dec. 24, 1943, in Choctaw County, the daughter of the late Donald Gaston and Christine Brooks Arnold. She was a Baptist. She was a retired inspector with Big Yank Manufacturing in West Point. She also worked at First United Methodist Church Daycare. She married Everett Eugene Roberts June 26, 1961, in Carrollton, Ala., and he passed away Sept. 17, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her son Kevin Eugene Roberts, who passed away July 23, 1992, and by her twin sister Sally Pauline Hightower.
Funeral services are Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at 2 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Martin Carden officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery near Eupora.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Kim Roberts Leggett (Malloy) of West Point; two grandsons: Matthew and Patrick Leggett both of West Point; two sisters: Elaine McCool (Clay) of Kingwood, Texas, and Kristie Lanthrip (Todd) of Mathiston; and two brothers: Donald L. Arnold of Selmer, Tenn., and Kenneth Arnold (Sarah) of West Point.
Pallbearers are Chuck McMullen, Jimmy Bell, Dustin Arnold, Daniel Arnold, Jonathan Lanthrip, and Chance Mathis.
Honorary pallbearers are Willie Hightower, Patrick Leggett, Matthew Leggett, Malloy Leggett, Jacob McCool, Anthony Gwathney, Alex Millsaps, Jimmy Roberts, Robbie Roberts, Clay McCool, nurses and staff of North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point, and Dr. Edmund A. Miller Jr. and Staff.
Memorials may be made to Mount Moriah Cemetery Care Fund, c/o Van Johnson, 867 Ticky Bend Road, Eupora, MS 39744.
Visitation is today, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
