Roady V. Hudgins, age 73, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 9, 1938, in Webb, Miss., to the late Ruby Lee Hendon and Vernon L. Hudgins. She was self employed in housekeeping and of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services are Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom Harris and Mr. Vernon Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is today, from 5-8 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Vernon Edwards, John Edwards, Clyde Edwards, Zachary Edwards, Shane Woods, Jon Fugerson. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Bennett, Michael Garrett, Jesse Arellano, Dr. Qu, Dr. Lambert, Dr. Zachow, Peggy Chadwick, Annie Chandler, Debbie Hester, Mona Silcox, Ellis Poss, Diana and YoYo, residents of Beardmen Trailer Park in Pearl, Miss.
She is survived by her son, Billy Durrett (Debbie) of West Point, Miss,; one brother, Robert Earl Sumner of Trout, La.; two sisters: Alice Edwards Oneal of West Point, Miss., Faye Faulkner of Brandon, Miss.; brother-in-law, Gerl Johnson of Florence, Miss.,; and one grandson, Tim Alspaugh of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a special friend, Bully Arellano; five nieces; seven nephews; three great-nieces; and seven great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bydge Hudgins; a sister, Ruby Tommie (Tinker) Johnson; and nephew, Vernon Hudgins.
Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
