Richard Anthony Franklin of Greenville, age 77, passed away, Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014.
Funeral services were 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Mortimer Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial followed at Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
Richard Anthony Franklin was born Jan. 8, 2014, in Amory, to the late John L. and Louise Franklin. He grew up in Cedar Bluff and graduated from West Point High School in 1956.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Bell Franklin; three children: Lynne Franklin Madonia (Joe) of Chattanooga, Tenn., Loretta Franklin Sumrall (Wade) of Acworth, Ga., Samuel Franklin (Melinda) of Greenville; daughter – in – law. Pam Franklin of Birmingham. Ala.; 11 grandchildren; and five great – grandchildren.
Mortimer Funeral Home of Greenville was in charge of arrangements.
