Residents propose ‘Bark Park’ for pets

Dog lovers in West Point could have something new to look forward to in the form of a new dog park if a group of residents have their way. West Point resident Sherry Jeffcoat said she had recently circulated a petition with about 100 signatures and growing to show community support for a “Bark Park” similar to those found in Starkville, Columbus and Tupelo. It’s an amenity she said was sorely needed in West Point.
