Raiders have last chance for a victory Friday

Oak Hill academy will have one final shot tonight to try and erase their winless season when they host district newcomer Immanual Christian here in West Point.

It will be the second time this season the junior high players will be in the lineup, and despite a 21-6 loss last week to Kirk Academy, there has been a little spark for the 0-9 Raiders.

“We’ve looked more like a solid offense,” first year head coach Benjie Merchant said. “But we’ve still been making the mistakes we have been all season, miscues and missed tackles and missing blocks. That’s something we want to try and take care of in the off-season. The enthusiasm is till there on the team.”

Kick-off for the finale is schedule for 7 pm.
