Oak hill has two district games remaining, a doubleheader with Winston tonight at home.
In Tuesday night’s game, the score was tied 1-1 going into the fourth inning, behind starter Cole Fowler. A five-run inning put Winston up 6-1.
In the seventh, Fowler got a hold of a curveball and smashed it over the fence for the team’s second run.
Fowler finished 1-for-1. Conner Baird had an extra base hit himself, a double from the leadoff spot. Clay Henley, who finished the game on the mound, had a hit, and Adam Tumey slapped a single as well.
Tonight’s action at Oak Hill will start at 4 p.m., with game two slated for 6:30 p.m.
