Raiders fall at the buzzer, 68-66

November 9, 2011

MERIDIAN - With seconds remaining on the clock, and Oak Hill with a one point lead, Lamar hit a 22-footer at the buzzer to steal the win right out of the Raiders hands, 68-66 in the season opener on the road.

“They broke our hearts there at the end,” head coach Brian Middleton said. “Some things you have to learn.”

With five seconds remaining, Oak Hill had the lead 66-65. Lamar called a timeout to regroup.

“We had it well defended,” Middleton said. “We just didn’t get the stop when we needed it.”
