A Raider win at Manchester seals 2010 playoff spot

Oak Hill may be 0-5 in non-league action this year, but where it counts, they are sitting with a 1-0 record, one win from a playoff spot.
As bad as Friday night’s 56-21 beating by Larmar was, the Raiders could be in a good place by next Friday, when they travel to take on Manchester Academy (0-5)
“It’s the most important game of the year for our team,” Gregg said. “Win this game, and we’re in the playoffs. Lose this game, and we’re not out of the playoffs, but we’ll have to beat Winston on the road the last game of the year to make the playoffs. This is a huge game for our team.”
The Mavericks, who fell to Oak Hill in 2009, are winless in five games. They’ve had a hard time keeping opponents off the scoreboard, giving up 50-plus in two out of the last three weeks.
Oak Hill’s success could depend on the Raiders’ health.
“We’re sort of looking for 15,” Gregg said. “We only have 18 to start with. If you only have three injuries, it’s not too bad, but it’s still what it is. It’s probably going to be 15 players dressed out Friday.”
