Prophet Johnny Lee Chambers, 66, passed away, Thursday, February 17, 2011 at his home,
in West Point, Mississippi. Johnny Lee Chambers was born December 4, 1944 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to the late Lucille
Elizabeth Hargus and Noah Arlie Chambers and Prophet Chambers was a International Evangelist. He was of the Non-
Denominational faith. Johnny Lee Chambers married Margaretta Priscilla Ware Chambers on November 19, 2005, Tuscaloosa, AL.
Johnny has traveled into 64 countries preaching and singing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He had written over 3000 songs. He was a professional anointed keyboard and guitar player. Many of his songs are being sung in churches and
gospel groups.
God had ordained him with a ministry of a prophet, working of miracles, gift of healing and a deliverance ministry. He was known as “America’s“ favorite number one revivalist, and he had 380 city wide tent revivals: 40 different cities in
Florida alone. This man of God could push you into the perfect will of God! He is going to be remembered by all of his
friends, family and thousands who have been saved, delivered and healed throughout the 52 years of his ministry.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in
Greenwood Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include wife Priscilla Chambers of West Point; two daughters, Kristin Chambers and Candace Chambers both
of Tulsa, OK; one son, Johnny Lee Chambers, II of Flag Staff, AZ; one grandchild; Hunter Chambers; one sister,
Geraldine Alsup (Bob) of Tulsa, OK; one brother, Glen Chambers of Stillwell, OK. Two brothers, Charles Chambers, and
Bud Chambers also predeceased him.
Visitation will be Friday, 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
