Police seeking information on burglaries

West Point Police Department investigators are looking for information on a trio of crimes from July 2013, including two alleged robberies and a hit-and-run.
n About 7 p.m. July 4, 2013, officers responded to the corner of South Division Street and East Brame Avenue in reference to an alleged hit-and-run. A car allegedly struck the victim, who was then left on the street, according to the incident report. The victim was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point with minor injuries and later released. The victim was unable to provide any details on the vehicle, though an unnamed witness told investigators they saw a maroon Chevrolet Impala traveling east away from the scene.
n On July 16, 2013, officers responded to a body shop on Old Tibbee Road in reference to an alleged burglary. According to the incident report, the owner arrived at the shop in the morning to to discover someone had allegedly broken into the building and taken a large amount of vehicle accessories. The owner reported that in addition to his own belongings taken from the shop, the suspect allegedly broke into several cars the victim was repairing and took items from them, as well.
