Police: Labor Day weekend quiet overall

The Labor Day weekend is the last hooray of summer for most, which could potentially see an increase in accidents and disturbances.

However, the city of West Point and Clay County were rather safe over the holiday weekend.

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott said the county was “overall pretty quiet,” but there were a few reported incidents.
