Rev. Robert Shamblin – Traylor, pastor and the congregation of Pilgrim Grove M.B. Church wanted to show the law enforcement of West Point and Clay County that they are appreciated for their dedication to the community.
“There has been so much negativity toward law enforcement in the national media lately,” Traylor said. “We as a church decided to do this to show our appreciation for what they do every day. We as a community need to show we support our police and sheriffs departments. What would our country be like without them?”
Traylor said the African – American community needs to stand up for law enforcement. All lives matter, not just black lives, all lives. See more details in today's DTL
