Peggy J. Stafford age 54, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013, at her home in the Mayhew Community of Starkville.
She was born December 17, 1958, in Starkville, to Sarah Lucille Chaffin Watson and the late Thomas Jefferson Watson, Jr. Mrs. Stafford was a cafeteria worker for West Clay Elementary Schools. She was a store clerk and a member of Hebron Baptist Church
Funeral services are Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Byron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy C. Stafford of Starkville, two daughters, Emily Bigham of Amory, Laura Robinson (Mitch) of Columbus, two sons, Dwayne Bigham of Starkville, Jason Bigham of Pheba, five grandchildren, Breanna Bigham, Alex Bigham, Gage Bigham, Mickie Jo Bigham, and Josilynn McKinney, her mother, Sarah Lucille Chaffin Watson of West Point, five sisters, Ann Palmer (Robert) of Maben, Marie Lepicier (Richard), Dorothy Ann Staten
(Andy), Nancy Hardin (Larry), Maudie Walls (Doug), one brother, Thomas David “Buddy” Watson all of West Point, stepsister, Thomasine Bateman (Buddy) and stepbrother, John Thomas “Bubby” Watson (Dianne) all of West Point, and a number of nieces and nephews. Her brother, James Franklin Watson, a stepbrother and sister Finley Watson and Anita Howe, preceded her in death.
Pallbearers are Dwyane Bigham, Philip Kellum, Jeffery Chaney, Jim Price, Lamar Bigham, and Jason Bigham.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ronnie and Robin Henley, Charles Henley, Robbie Prestage, Allen and Janet Wray.

Visitation is today, Tuesday, January 8, 2013, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
