Patsy Clark Pace

Patsy Clark Pace, age 84 died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at her residence in Aberdeen. Mrs. Pace was a retired educator in both the public and private schools, and she was a graduate of Blue Mountain College and the University of Mississippi. A published author, she was a former president of the Mississippi Poetry Society. Also, she was a founding member of the Chief Tishomingo Chapter of the DAR in Iuka. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Aberdeen.
Visitation is today, Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen. A graveside service is Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m. Rev. Kenneth Corley will officiate.
Mrs. Pace is survived by two children: Missy Pace Callero (Chris) of Irvine, Calif., and T. W. Pace (Cindy) of Amory. She is also survived by her sister, Janette Clark Pike (Izzy) of Fairhope, Ala,; and four grandchildren: Caden Callero, Finley Callero, Wilson Pace and David Pace. She is also survived by a step - granddaughter, Tracy Callero Hertstein. She is also survived by two great - grandchildren and two step – great - grandchildren and a long-time family friend, Chris Carter, as well as several other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Julius E. Clark of Iuka and her husband William (Billy) M. Pace.
