OHA beats Colonels at home

December 21, 2012

How sweet revenge can be. 10 days after a tough road loss at Indianola, the Raiders got their chance to take it to the Colonels, and boy, did they take advantage. Oak Hill played fearless and smart the whole night, never scoring less than 14 points in every quarter while holding Indianola to only 11 points in the second half on route to a 65-38 statement win for the 10-5 Raiders heading into the holiday break.
John Wesley Williamson led the Raiders in scoring with 18 points, followed by Drew Riley with 13, including a steaming 4-4 from 3-point range. Curt Huffman and Drake Riley finished the game with nine and eight points, respectively. Jeb Stevens, A.J. Iseley, and J.J. Bridges all scored three points a piece, while Conner Baird and Dakota O’Bryant added two points each.
The Raiders will not play again until the 26th against Noxubee County in the Immanuel Christmas Tournament.
