The Oak Hill Raiders (5-5; 2-3 District 2-AA) ended its regular season on a low note with a loss to the Leake Academy Rebels (7-3; 5-0 District 2-AA) 35-0 Friday night on the campus of Oak Hill Academy in West Point on senior night.
The loss to Leake was the second loss for the Raiders after defeating the District 1-AA champions Indianola Academy (14-7) in week eight of the MAIS season on Oct. 11 in West Point. Since the Raiders' fifth and final win of the regular season, Oak Hill has been outscored 84-14 and lost its leading rusher, sophomore Drew Riley, to a season-ending shoulder injury during the game with Canton Academy, a 49-14 loss.
The Leake win clinched a third-consecutive district championship for the Rebels and continues a 15-game unbeaten streak inside district competition.
