The Lady Volunteers jumped out to an early 4-0 lead over the Oak Hill squad, and they never looked back.
Eventually, the would add an insurance run, but it was not necessary, as the bats for Oak Hill stayed cold through seven innings.
Maime Rogers took the loss for Oak Hill, a team that will be playing a road conference game against Carroll on Thursday night.
Magaen Ellis and Paige Dawkins accounted for Oak Hill’s only four hits, getting two each.
The Raiders played Heritage Academy last night, and full details of that game can be found in Thursday’s edition of the Daily Times Leader.
The game against Carroll on tomorrow will start with the A-Team at 5 p.m.
