Oak Hill Academy honor its three seniors last Thursday

Despite a high-scoring 19-8 loss to East Webster last Thursday, the Oak Hill Academy Raiders baseball team honored three seniors who have been instrumental to the team’s success during the 2018 season.

DYLAN SCOTT

Scott has helped his team both in the batter’s box and on the mound during its 2018 campaign.

In 79 plate appearances, Scott managed a .409 batting average, with six home runs and 21 RBIs.

He also led the team with a .758 slugging percentage

On the mound, Scott finished with a 4-3 record over seven starts. He ends the regular season with 27 strikeouts and a 3.18 earned run average over 33 innings.

REILEY TATE

Tate has been nearly unstoppable at the plate for the Raiders, finishing the regular season with a .441 batting average in 78 plate appearances. The senior also rounded out the 2018 campaign with two home runs and 12 RBIs.

He also led the team in runs scored with 32.

COLLINS BROWN

The Raiders regular catcher was a force at the plate during the 2018 season, leading the team in batting average (.514), times hit by pitch (13), on-base percentage (.727)

Brown ended the regular reason with two home runs, 18 RBIs, and 18 hits on the year.
