New Hope High football jamboree schedule

The West Point Green Wave competes in New Hope High School's sixth annual fall jamboree on Saturday, Aug. 15 in Starkville. The jamboree consists of seven games, spanning two days, at Davis Wade Stadium on the campus of Mississippi State University. Each game consists of a two-quarter half for varsity and a quarter for junior-varsity action.
The new-look Wave plays in one of six Saturday games at the event. West Point's opponent is the Kosciusko Whippets, who finished the 2014 season with an 11-3 overall record in the Mississippi High School Activities Association's (MHSAA) 4A classification. The game kicks off at 5 p.m.
Five opponents on West Point's regular-season schedule are featured, including Aug. 28 and season-opening opponent Louisville. The others are Starkville (Sept. 4), Columbus (Sept. 11), Noxubee County (Sept. 18) and New Hope (Oct. 30).
